Job status and tracking
Comments
Where you see a Comment button on a job, a proof or an estimate, you can write to your Drummond team about it. They're told straight away and reply on the same page, and you get their reply by email. Anyone at your company who can see that job, proof or estimate can read and add to the conversation. For something urgent, call us.
Job status shows each job with a tracker of its steps: order received, proof, prepress, printing, finishing, shipped and delivered, plus the promised date. Jobs past their promised date are marked in red and jobs close to it in amber, and they're listed first. Type in the search box to find a job by number, description or PO.
When a job ships, tracking links appear on the job and in your order history. For UPS and FedEx shipments, the carrier's latest status and expected delivery date show next to the tracking number, and in shipment emails. You can also get an email for each shipment, with every tracking number linked to the carrier's tracking page: turn it on under Account.
Local deliveries and pickups
When our own trucks deliver to you, or you collect an order from us, it's listed under Local deliveries and pickups on the same page: the date, its status (scheduled, out for delivery, ready for pickup, delivered or picked up) and, once it's done, who received it with a photo of where the goods were left and the signature, if someone signed. If we couldn't deliver, it says why. If you get shipment emails (or texts), we may also let you know when a delivery is on its way, when an order is ready to collect, and when it's done.
QR codes on packing slips
Some packing slips carry a QR code. Scan it with your phone's camera to open that order and its tracking, or to ask us to reprint the job. You'll be asked to sign in first, so the code is no use to anyone outside your company.
