Help · Getting started
Your account, your team and notifications
Open Account at the top of the page to change your name and choose which emails you get: proof reminders, notices when an order or job ships or is ready for pickup, and follow-ups about quotes we've sent you, and, if your Drummond team has turned them on, a note when a new quote is ready and a reminder shortly before a quote expires.
What each role can do
- Administrator: everything, plus adding and removing your company's portal users.
- Buyer: orders, quotes, files, jobs, inventory, reports and support.
- Approver: everything a buyer can, plus approving proofs and estimates.
- Accounts payable: invoices, statements, payments, reports and support. Accounts payable users also get invoice and statement emails.
Roles and what each one sees lists every page by role.
For administrators: managing your team
- Open Account.
- Under your company's users, add a colleague with their work email and a role. They get an invitation by email.
- Change a role, or turn someone off when they leave. Turning a user off stops their access straight away.
- Approve or decline colleagues who asked for access.
What your company has chosen to show
Your company can ask Drummond to show only recent history (older paid invoices, shipped jobs and estimates are then hidden; open invoices and unfinished jobs always show), to switch off paying online, to let each person see only the requests they sent (administrators still see all of them), or to show estimate prices and order totals only to administrators, approvers and accounts payable. Your company may also have a short note at the top of each page, such as an order cut-off time. A note on the page says when something is hidden. To change any of these, ask your Drummond account team.
Your Drummond contact
The home page shows your account manager at Drummond and, where you have one, your customer service representative, with their email addresses.
When you add a user, we check the address for common typos, such as gmial.com, and suggest the likely spelling. If the address really is spelled that way, tick The address is right and add it again.
Letting our support team see your account
If you have it, Account has Let Drummond support see your account. When our support team asks to see what you see, turn it on for an hour, a day, 3 days or a week. They can look at the portal as you, but they can’t change, send, order, approve or pay anything. You can turn it off at any time, and the same box lists who looked and when. Only people who work at Drummond can use it.
Account activity
If you have it, administrators see Account activity on the Account page: when each of your company's users signed in and which pages they made changes on, such as adding a user or approving a proof, for the last 90 days. It shows the page and the result, not what was typed.
